Writers George Smitts and Steve Simon celebrate the publication of their latest book, “A Life of Crime” by taking their wives on a cruise to Alaska. Their dream vacation turns sour when a stalker begins killing passengers on the luxury liner. George and Steve soon realize that the killer is targeting their new friends casting suspicion on them . . but why? Is it revenge for information they are gathering for their newest project, Crusin’ For Crime? An old grudge? Their publisher hasn’t even agreed to accept the book yet. The killer captures their new friend, Mei Ling, but has to hurriedly stuff her into a cabinet when he hears people approaching. Quite by accident George leans on the locked cabinet holding the kidnapped woman. Her groans alert him. Knowing the killer must do away with any witness, they set up a sting. Pretending to be the unconscious woman, George lies wrapped in blankets on a sickbay cot. Steve and officers from the ship stay out of sight and wait for the killer to apprach.
