“A Delicate Dance” is a fictional biography written by the son of famous author, Clarkson Gregory–in an attempt to salvage his father’s reputation, which has been impugned in a poison-pen novel by a former admirer. Having spent most of his life locked in a contentious father/son battle, Thad Gregory seems the least likely defender of his controlling and demanding father. However, in doing so, he discovers the father he only thought he knew. The novel is full of crackling dialogue and literary references of the 20th century’s most famous literati and glitterati.
